Error 0x80300001 Windows is unable to install to the selected location

PROBLEM
During Windows setup, after you supply RAID controller drivers, you are able to see disks and configure partitions, but when you try to install Windows to the partition you just created the following error is reported

SOLUTION
Put back the Windows 2008 installation DVD into drive
